The following appointment cannot be syncrozized...

Please help. I keep getting this error message when I add appointments on my Axim and then sync with my desktop. I have a x50v running WM 2003 SE. The following message error comes up.

"The following reoccuring appointment cannot be syncronized becase Microsoft Outlook information is being used by another program. Close all other programs on your desktop computer adn syncronize again. If problem persists, restart your computer."

I have restarted my computer but still keep getting the same error message. The only difference being that it sync four of the seven appointments leaving three with an error message.

Thanks for any help.

My X50 V also gets an error message now that my microsoft outlook is not installed, and therefore my Dell cannot be synced. However, it does sync 4 out of 7 fields.
I have never installed or used outlook, just outlook express, and it worked normally for the past 2 years. HELP Chumley1
