Eternal "Connecting"

Hello, I have an Axim X51v and it was working great until a month ago when the activesync would only connect maybe 1 out of the 10 times I tried. I decided that today I would try to fix it for good and followed some of the advice on this forum such as hard reset, device rename, upgrade to 4.1 and deleting the device from the computer. I am not runnin any firewalls besides microsofts and it still will not connect. It just continues "connecting" with no other options for me to try. I have installed the bluetooth on my computer and attempted to create a connection that way but with no luck. When I open activesync the only option i have is "connection settings", all the others are greyed out. Any more suggestions? I use this device everyday for school so not being able to have it is hurting badly, also, since the hard reset, I no longer have my think outside bluetooth keyboard working. Is there a way to install that without activesync until I figure that problem out? THanks for all of your help!
