I am trying to roll back to AS 3.8. I uninstall 4.1 and reinstall 3.8 on my PC with no problem. When I put the X51v into the cradle, I cannot get it to connect. My wife' s X50v connects fine, so I assume PC software and all hardware is OK. I notice that the X51v has no way to delete / reinstall AS on it. What am I missing???

any version of AS before 4.1 isn't compatible with WM5

I believe you will find that WM5 will only work with AS 4.0 or higher.

It will work, but you lose the ability to wifi sync...
I didn't wifi sync anyway so it doesn't bother me

AS 4.1 will be fine for both WM2003 & WM2005 ...

but AS 3.8 will not work for WM5 ....

so ...in your case ... AS 4.1 will works for both device ... :approve:

I'm using both X50v and X51v with AS 4.1 with no problems, we did experience some problems after a hard reset on the X51v and using a backup from SPB backup, but resolved it, other than that everything functions within normal parameters.
