Hey all..

I just got my X51V yesterday and have been trying to snyc since...i installed all the software before docking it, asked me to create a profile...did that....but then the green logo in the active sync window on my PC just keeps spinning :(

Tried reinstalling, uninstalling then reinstalling, reinstalling without MS Outlook...

Have done this like 5 times...at one point i had to do a system restore to 2 days ago because my PC kept crashing at windows :(

Any ideas ? Obviously i cant even install programs to the unit either...

Check out Chris De Herrera's site, good troubleshooting info. If you have a firewall installed, try disabling it. If that solves your problem, Chris's site has info on how to configure the firewall so it plays nice with Activesync. Good luck and welcome!

:( itll work when i quite ZoneAlarm...tried all the steps listed to make it work with ZA but no luck...

oh well..least i got a temp solution :)

Try again, you probaly missed something configuring ZA. I use ZA and am able to sync. Good luck!
