ActiveSync 4.1 and GPS questions (unrelated)
Greetings. Two unrelated questions:
Question 1:
I am using AS 4.1 with my new X51v. It syncs fine with my local PC (through cradle and BT) and works equally well with my office Exchange Server (through WiFi + VPN).
Every time I put the Axim in its USB cradle, however, it first attempts to reach my office Exchange Server through the internet (which won't work, obviously), which causes an annoying timeout. Is there a way to get the silly AS *not* to try contacting the Exchange Server?
Question 2:
I have a BT GPS that was bundled with my Axim. It uses the Navteq maps and works fine. However, for some reason, I can't get the contact address lookup feature to work properly. It complains that the "street number is incorrect" (this happens for all the contacts I attempted to lookup with the navigation software). I tried multiple address formats, to no avail (with or without prefixes/suffixes). My addresses all follow the Outlook format, with no extra spaces or funky punctuation. Any ideas?
