Only one tap that says Options and a box with all the files and stuff that you check. No other tabs. What version of Activesync are you running? I have 4.2.

That is 4.2 as well, but is unchanged from at least 3.7.1. But it is on the PC, not the PDA, so they should be clicks, not taps ....

Well this is driving me nuts. I can't find anything on my computer that looks like that picture with the three taps on it so it looks like I can't turn the popup off.

Two things I noticed. 1. The schedule button is grayed out. 2. In the connections section of the PDA under usb to pc I had to uncheck the Enable advanced network functionally to get it to sync properly and show the files and folders. But I still can't get the popup to go away.

Interesting article on Disabling Activesync. By the way I found how to turn off the popup window by going to file/connection settings/open activesync when my device syncs (uncheck the box)

Did you find answer to your question about the missing tabs under "tools", "options"? I also have this same problem - No "rules, schedule, etc." tabs. I have posted elsewhere but so far have found no help, and no one else but you who even seems to have this issue.

I have AS 4.2 (upgraded from 4.1)
Win XP pro
ZoneAlarm (configured for AS)
Spy Sweeper

I can sync, but cannot get to these options.

Any thoughts anyone?

As far as I can see under that 4.2 there are no tabs showing up except for the options tab. If other ppl are seeing it then I must assume that it is a carry over from a previous activesysnc version. I've done a fresh install and used the Microsofts 4.2 version vice the one provided by the manufacture. Regardless, I was able to turn off the pop up window using the above method that I posted earlier.
