Activesync 3.8 problems - not syncing

Hi,
I've had my X50V for a month now and all's been working fine up until recently with ActiveSync 3.8.

Basically, I put the PDA in the cradle and then I get a message from ActivSync saying it's connected, then it starts syncing then just loses connection without doing the sync. This happens everytime and I just can't connect the bloody thing properly. The Activesync icon turns green momentarily the moment I connect, but then turns grey almos immediately afterwards.

This might be helpful but the sync icon on the pda loses the 'X' to say that it's connected, but the sync arrows don't move at all!

Any help appreciated.

Have you tried soft resetting your device/rebooting PC? Also, reinstalling ActiveSync and re-establishing your partnership helps too, but make sure you delete the current partnership first (with your device not connected, click on Files - Delete Partnership on your desktop ActiveSync).

Thanks for the tip.

I managed to sort it out by disconnecting the cradle, reconnecting straight to original USB lead (which reestablished the sync), then back to the cradle again. Seems to work ok so far.
