I hope this is the right place to post this question. I have to have send in my laptop for service, and I want to back up and delete my pocket PC-related files from my laptop to protect the data from prying eyes.

QUESTION: Just WHERE does the Dell Axim 50 sync up to on the PC side? I'm running Windows XP on my laptop. I'm looking for the file that would contain all of my contacts, as well as the notes. I think the notes are stored in separate files.

I tried to find this by searching for a text string that I new existed in my contacts, but nothing was found, so presumably the file is in a format where simple text searches don't work.

most of the information will be in outlook, so backup your information to a pst file and keep a copy of that on CD jus in case.
