For the last couple of days Avantgo has not been syncing properly. No new webpages shows up. Activesync seems to stick on "connecting to avantgo..."I have a Dell Axim X50 (416) running 3003SE, Avangto 3.7.1

I gave up on advantgo a long time ago. Egress works much better and it has the option to save web pages for offline viewing. I also use pocket weather. It's a much better combo.

 

I've had the same problem the last week or so. For two years it worked smoothly. I just figured it was because I added new cards on my axim, storage and memory were bumping, and a password to my notebook.

Could it possibly be on their end? Suggestions, folks....

I have not been able to do anything with AvantGo for about a week now. More times than not, it looks like it completely syncs. First I noticed the graphics were not there, then the hyperlinks did not work. Now I cannot even get past the "sync now" screen on my Axim.

I think my AvantGo version is 6.2, Axim X51 with WM5.

An (X) indicates a Wi-Fi post from my Axim X51.

My Avantgo is working... I only use it to check movie listings, but I havent had any sync issues.

Have you tried going to avantgo.com from your PC and logging in?

not working for me either.
I am using the 6.2 VGA beta and it was all good. I did a hard reset and restore from memory card and now no go avantgo. Avantgo keeps asking for user details (username & password) , will sync then ask for username & password again. the fix from avantgo go does not help. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks.

Mine isn't syncing right either. Jumped to the 6.2 and it wouldn't accept my username/password.. so I jumped down to 6 and it told to update my activesync. I'm using 4.1. I gave up and haven't messed with it in a week.

I just uninstalled V6.2 Beta and installed v6.0 (my X51 is not VGA). I added a new channel, sync'd via BT and everything looks to be working OK (at least for now). Keep your fingers crossed

6.2 not working for me again. grrr...

Once in a while, you need to simply remove and then reinstall. I'll lose a graphic here and there and they never come back. And when I reinstall, voila, it's back again! That's what I do and I'm fine with it.

Seem to be intermittent. changing to landscape stuffed it up for a while but has been good for 20 hours or so. Maybe a probem at Avantgo's end?

For the first time in several months, I can't sync. anyone else having this problem?

I downloaded the beta version and that works real well with only a limited amout of storage. They changed the way to download avantgo so I just go to the menu option at the bottom of Aventgo and then press sync all while I'm online. That seems to work well.
