Vista Beta 2 Update includes Sync

Vista did a Update last night that will allow you to Sync Mobile devices. It states Devices running WM5, 2003 will work. Mine did update and set it up very easily. The only problem I have is getting Outlook stuff to Sync. In the Mobile Center it tells me I have to configure Outlook to Sync Calender and Contacts. I have searched and searched and found nothing in Outlook to configure. I am running 2007 Beta, think I might try a reinstall of Outlook to see if that works.

I just did the update this morning and everything is working great. Everything sync'd the first time without any problems.

Did you have to configure anything in Outlook?

I am using the Outlook (2002 SP3) and an X50v. The device is picked up and connected...

Like the OP, I can't find anything relevant to configure in Outlook...

Regards

Yes, if you click on Windows Update it shows you a page with "No update Available." However, to the top left of that page, if you click on "Check for updates," it will reveal them to you...

I only have Office XP - perhaps that's the problem...
