I have spent hours and still not able to get my contacts to sync. Any suggestions would be great.

Rom ver 12 (Did this last night)
Just installed Active Sync 4.2 (was 4.1) same issue
No firewall software (Winblows firewall turned OFF) - I have a hardware router/firewall
I also deleted my relationship and made a new one (Active Sync)
Using Office 2003 (With all updates)

I have NOT tried syncing email etc as all I want is my contacts on my Axim to go to my XP system ( Pro with sp2 and all updates) , I have turned off all other running programs/AV as well and still cannot sync contacts

Thats weird, you may want to try syncing directly to your Exchange server.

Well, I got my contacts working.

This is in my opinon a MS design issue with Outlook 2003. This really chokes me, after so many hours.

I have my Outlook set up so when I open the address book it shows all contacts and not the adress book. (address book has always been empty and never used) Well If your contact does Not have an email adress it will not show at all. Those contacts can only be found and only show under personal folders - contacts.

Contacts without an email address will not display if you click Address Book and it will only show contacts with an email adress.

So all along my contacts were synced. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
