Activesync 4.2 install error

I've just tried to upgrade to activesync 4.2 and keep getting an error message during the install -- "Internal Error 2755.110". I had no problem with the earlier upgrades. Has anyone come across this error?

Have you tried to uninstall the old version first?

Yes, I uninstalled the previous version. No problem installing on my home computer, but on my laptop at work it doesn't want to install. Tried downloading 4.2 from different sites, but same result. Seems to be something with the Windows\Download folder.

You have to have administrator rights

If youre running WinXP
You may also use 'System Restore'
& try your install again like it was fresh
with Full Admin rights as stated above

I've been granted full admin rights, but same problem. Also tried it offline. Sigh. My systems guy won't approve the system restore, so he's going to fool around with it for a bit.

If I install the 4.2 version will I lose the program setup files in 4.1 will I have to reinstall all the programs?
