Alright guys, I just got my dell axim x51v, used but in excellent condition. It came with the rhino case and the dock but no books or software for my computer. How or where do I get something to sync with my outlook to my axim? I am compared to you guys stupid when it comes to this stuff. I need help! Any other suggestions that i should do to get started? Thanks in advance for all the help! :approve:

Welcome to AximSite:) Go to Microsoft.com & download most current version of ActiveSync (its free). That will allow you to sync your Axim w/ Outlook. Also check out Tutorial section of this site.

Alright, downloaded activesync 4.2. I have all my contacts on outlook on my computer and it says it updated it both on my coputer and pda but i still see none of my contacts on the pda? Is there something I needed to do? thanks again!

I figured out why it wasn't download the contacts and fixed it. Are there any updates I need to run on the axim to fix any bugs? also, if I want to put any pics or whatever onto the axim from the computer, do i Just drag it into the folder on the desktop that is supposed to be for things to put onto the axim? Thanks!

Are you transferring pics to a CF or SD card? If so, and if you have a large number of them, you may want to purchase a cheap card reader so that you can transfer files to the cards more quickly.
