I have an Axim X50 with WM 2003SE. I upgraded to ActiveSync 4.2 and my calendar now syncs inconsistently. If I enter an item on the PDA, it disappears when I close that screen, and only some of the appointments entered directly on my PC appear on the PDA calendar. However, the reminders do appear on the Today screen for items that are not on the PDA calendar itself.

The version of AS indicated on the PDA is 4.2, but when I tried to remove it by going into Add/Remove Programs on the PC, only 4.1 was there. I clicked on "repair" but it made no difference. I am at a loss for what to try next. HELP!

Interestingly, I seem to have a similar problem.
When I sync my x51v to my desktop with ActiveSync 4.2, I noticed that there're some events in my PDA that are not found on my MS Outlook. And no matter what I try, the events don't sync.
I wonder what is causing the problem and I dread my next hard reset coz I'll have missing events.
If anyone else have this problem and if anyone else have some solution, could you share this strange phenomenon?

I have found that appointments created on my 51v sync just fine, but those originating in Outlook on laptop do not sync with pda calendar. However, while in Outlook, I have had success if I copy an old appointment (made on Axim), paste it to whenever & then edit anyway I need. Almost as if the appts. made on the Axim are the only ones recognized.
