1st When I use Excel on my Axim X50V and create a file I thought that if I created a file by the same name with the same column headings, etc. on the desktop computer that when I used Active Sync to backup files that all the data from the Axim would go to the desktop. I was wrong. Any idea how to do this?

2nd question. Active Sync drives me nuts with its rediculous habit of frequently forgetting that it is turned on and that my Axim is in its crade and turned on as well. Active Sync seems to keep thinking, every little bit, that the Axim is no longer connected or turned on. Am I the only one with this issue??

The file will be transfered to you pda_name documents folder on your pc desktop or your pda when you sync, depending on your sync rules. The file info will not be merged, new files will simply overwrite existing ones. Files that are not either in your My Documents folder on you pda or your pda_name folder on the desktop will not transfer.

Don't know about this one. It sometimes happens to me and taking it out of the cradle or deactivating BT and reactivating usually fixes it, without a reboot or a reset.
