Cant Sync my contact with Outlook

I have just bought an Axim X51v, my first PDA, and have been having a problem syncronising my contacts list. All other syncs are working properly except this one but Activesync is indicating that it is working properly. Any suggestions?

Have you gone into settings and checked contacts as one of the items to be sync'd?

Yes, several times over. I've hard reset a few times as well and also reinstalled Activesync having restore my PC to a date before I first installed it. Everything else loads successfully onto the axim except my contacts. When activesync starts up it shows 0/127 as the status for contacts then produces a check and moves on to the others (I don't have 127 contacts by the way). I cant open settings for contacts either, I assume this is part of the problem?

Problem solved! I removed all sync's except the Contacts and hey presto it worked. Having added the other syncs following this the problem seems to have gone away.
