ActiveSync Why has it taken so long for this category?

Sync multiple devices with different databases to one PC?
I'm trying to find out if I can sync my Axim with all of my contacts, info, etc to my laptop AND sync my girl's Samsung i730 to the same laptop. I don't want her contacts and info mixed up with mine.

I would imagine that Outlook would have to have different use profiles. I don't know if that's possible. Also, Sync would probably have to have different profiles. I don't know if that's possible as well.

Does anyone do this? How does it work?
