Any way to upload outlook contacts without outlook?
Which file are the outlook contacts stored in? My contacts are in my office pc, but I don't have a cradle there. I want to copy the contacts file into my home pc and activesync from there, but I don't have outlook at home.
BTW thanks to all those who sent me AS3.8. It works! | |||

The contact files would be stored as part of the OUTLOOK.PST file in c:\documents and settings/your profile name/local settings/microsoft/outlook if you have a default setup. "Your Profile Name" would be replaced by whatever name you use to logon the computer and access Outlook. From Outlook's File menu, you can export the contacts to another .pst file and just take that home. However, I don't know that Activesync will be able to transfer that data to the PDA if Outlook isn't installed. You can try and create the appropriate directory and copy the exported outlook.pst file to it on your home machine. If it doesn't work, you aren't out that much time.
