The ActiveSync 4.5 readme says that it does not support Backup/Restore (i.e., Microsoft's own built-in backup/restore that saves to .stg files). However, does anyone know if this is true for the Axim X50V running WM2003SE? I ask this because I already run ActiveSync 4.2.0 and it does have Backup/Restore. I'm wondering if this message in reality only applies to WM5 & 6 devices?

Anyone who can answer this from experience?

So I had an Axim a while back, and it was lost...long story, very sad.

I decided to get a new one last week, and when I re-installed I went to version 4.5 of activesync... So has anyone gone to it and found a good way to make a backup? Is there a Dell utility I'm missing? I have to go through the disks/documentation I got but I used to just do the AS backup and it saved me a few times....

Anyone have a better solution, or know where the backup is now hidden in AS 4.5?
