Start up A\S on the PC, Select Options, Select the Information Type (e.g.: Calendar), Select Settings. Repeat for each Information Type (e.g.: Tasks).

John, thanks for the quick response. Did you upgrade your version of AS? Mine was installed after a fresh rebuild of the OS. I'm wondering if your settings 'stuck' from a previous rev of AS that you had on your machine.
On calendar, I can only choose the range to sync, i.e., All, last 2 weeks, etc. Tasks does not let me choose categories and neither does Contacts.
