What are the chances you have a dead USB port?? Have you tried another USB port or just the same one??

On your PDA, go to Start, Settings, Connections, USB to PC Connection, and uncheck 'Enable Advanced Network Functionality'.

If you don't have this option, download and flash latest A12 ROM.

Do you have XP or other OS on your home computer? I had Win2K and activesync did not like that eventhough it theorectically should work. Activesync worked fine with all my other XP computers.
