For some reason, Activesync will no longer restore or maximize on my computer. I see the icon, and it works fine (for automatic sync tasks and things I can do with right click options off the icon), but I can't get it to expand to its own window. I was hoping someone would have an idea about why, or, better yet, how to fix it. Has anyone encountered this problem before?

I seem to remember reading about others that have had this problem. I would suggest you search for other postings concerning this problem. I guess you have already re-booted your computer and soft reset your pda to see if that solved your problem.
I had that problem and, as suggested above, a reset of Axim and reboot of PC solved it. If not, you could reinstall AS.
Thanks for the replies. Yes, I have already reset and rebooted several times, and reinstalled Activesync 4.2. The problem persists. I will check around the board for other messages as also suggested. Thanks!
Maybe it's displaying off-screen? When you double-click the icon next to the clock, does an icon appear in the main task bar? If so, is "restore" available when you right-click the icon in the main task bar? Or is "Move" available (if so, use the up/down/left/right keys to bring it back on to the display.
If the main icon does not appear in the main task bar, I have no idea :-(
I just had this happen to me a few weeks back and it was fixed by reloading AS. I thought the same as Mike said but was unable to find it off screen. I'd be interested to see what you come up with Thomas.
