Aximsiteactivesyncicon Explore button doesn't work

Hi,
I have an Axim X50v and have synced & explored files using my desktop windows 2000 computer.

Now I have a new windows XP 64bit edition and can ActiveSync, but when I click the 'Explore' button nothing happens.
Could it possibly be a 64bit problem?

Possibly, although it sometimes happens to me on XP. Usually I just recradle the device and it sorts itself out.

You might try looking for the Axim in the normal Windows Explorer on your pc: if you can't see it there, the device is not being read. Make sure that your Regional Settings are set correctly and see if that makes a difference.

In what way should my Regional Settings be 'correct'? Old PC, New PC, Axim, are all set to UK.
The 'Mobile Device' does not appear in Windows Explorer under My Computer, that's the way I'd normally do it rather than clicking the explore button.
I can sync contact/calendar etc. in AS okay, so that makes me think it can read it fine.

did you get explore button to work?

Having same problem, for a short while it worked but having reinstalled and tried everything, explore button doesnt respond and computer doesnt read device, even though it will sync contacts. Interested in knowing if you got it resolved. kgh
