Help Please....ActiveSync probs

I have had my X51 Syncing fine with 4.2 for about a month the for no apparent reason, after cradling my Axim the ActiveSync starts and 'Duh' the error comes up stating can't sync if it continues visit the trouble shoot page.......... but it shows connected on both device and pc but wont sync (green icon in bottom right but no outlook icons in ActiveSync window). I have reinstalled and soft reset and everything on the trouble shoot page ref firewall and TCP settings but still nothing. Please help

Have you ever synced another device with that computer (like a phone)?

I would uninstall 4.2 and try to install 4.5 Beta from the MS website. See what happens, you have nothing to lose. I was doing beautifully with 4.2 since last May, when suddenly, it stopped working both at home and at the office. Initially, I thought it might be some software I loaded, but now, I think not. Uninstalled 4.2, installed 4.5, and now both my office and home connections have been fine for over a week. They both actually seem strong. I reinstalled the questionable software without incident. Go for it!

Try setting the AS connection to just Internet and see if you can do it then. That is what I do, it works great! I just have to manually switch back whenever I have a new contact but makes AS connections so smooth(I just like to wake up in the morning and use BT to connect to my PC and go download my emails, etc.)

I think I have found the problem......It's Pocket Mechanic Pro the WM5 version, As soon as I uninstall it it syncs fine.
