Funny I should come across this while looking to see if any version had this capability. It's actually slightly depressing that wireless sync does not exist outside of bluetooth and smart phone connections to the carrier. However, if I am wrong, please let me know. I'll be happy to check out what proves me wrong. :)

That is why I never upgraded from 3.8. But I finally got an X51v and now I have to drag out my usb cable when I want to sync at home (my cradle is at work). A pain in the neck. Microsoft really missed the mark on that.

I was having trouble syncing with 4.2 so tried 4.5beta with my x51v and had much better results so far. Wifi syncing seems like a distance dream.

I am having trouble sync my outlook 2003 contact. anyone experience it like me? is there anything that i have done wrongly or forget to configure?

Mine was working well, but now it's not connecting with my Axim. I have no trouble at all with my Motorola Q, and never have, but I am constantly having trouble with my Axim X51v and the various Activesync softwares (4.0, 4.1, 4.2, 4.5 beta). Could this be a problem with the Ax???

After being unable to connect/synch on either of my two computers since Nov 14 (it is now the 20th) I removed a couple of programs from my Ax.

When I cradled it after a soft reset, it connected and began restoring and synching my partnership immediately. This makes me wonder if it might be some kind of memory or memory allocation problem. I show 49% of my main Ax memory available - it was never below around 45% available. I wonder if that my be a critical point of functioning with ActiveSynch. Does this make any sense to anyone?

By the way, until I updated my PocketPlayer before the 14th, I could at least connect sporadically after soft resets and similar fiddling. After the update, there was nothing I could do to make it connect, until I eliminated a couple of programs creating more main memory space.

It would be interesting to know what the main memory utilization (%) is of those users experiencing ActiveSynch problems - mine is the x51v.
