Windows 2003 able to upgrade to Activesync 4.2?

I was just wondering. It says it is made for 5.0. Am I not going to be able to upgrade to it? I have an Axim X30 Windows Mobile 2003. Thanks for any info!

As is backward compatible, meaning it will work with older devices.

But only upgrade if you have to, b/c there really isnt any new features for 2003 devices.

I agree with spunker88. IMHO, version 3.8 is the most stable version for 2003SE and below.

...and, in fact, you lose some features. IMO, 3.8 is a much better, less problem-prone version than any of the 4.x
