AS Odessey Continues

After AS 4.5 Beta was working almost flawlessly for the past three and one-half weeks, I took it out of the cradle this a.m. and carried it around for the day. When I returned later today and re-cradled it, it would not synch. I rebooted twice and soft reset about six times. Just when I was about to give up, I re-cradled the Axim one more time and it synched immediately. Don't tell how that happened, I couldn't begin to tell you.

On another note, I was due for a new cell phone and decided that I might go with the new Motorola Q. It was delivered Thursday, and before I took it out of the box, I realized that it synched with AS. I immediately returned it unopened. I don't need that grief with two devices. I'm going to wait a while and see whether my wireless phone provider, Verizon, offers the new Blackberry that can synch your Outlook. At present, only T-Mobile is offering it. It's supposed to be for those of us who don't need the constancy of the Blackberry 7000 series phones. It's either that, or the Palm Treo with Windows capability. It gets to be a real drag wondering whether each time you cradle your Axim, will it synchronize?
