Corel Office X3

I am thinking of buying a laptop that comes with Corel Office X3. I am wondering is it still possible to sync all of my info (contacts, tasks, email, calender) with my PPC or am I limited to using MS Office 2003? Could someone please let me know. Thanks.

Yours Truly,

Mattathias

Microsoft, in it's "wisdom" has chosen to only sync with M$ products for contacts, tasks etc. I use WP products. I have no problem with documents. As the documents that I make on the PDA are generally just notes, or not heavily formatted. I transfer them to the pc and then read them in WP. There was alittle flurry of activity to see if someone could write a program to support WP files natively, but I don't think anythng ever came of that.

I also do not use outlook. There are sync helpers that sync with other contact managers including ACT, lotus notes, lotus organizer. I use pdasync to sync my contacts, tasks and appts from my lotus organizer. I don't know of a program that syncs with the corel appointments or calendar programs, but there may be. Good Luck.
