I'm going a little crazy trying to install Iguidance on my Dell handheld. I had an older version and remember having the same issue when I installed it, but don't remember how I ended up fixing it. I have removed the older version and all associated files.

When I put the DVD in (with my Dell in the cradle and active), it goes thru all of the install process but when the Add/Remove Programs window pops up it says 'Unable to Connect to Mobile Device. Please reconnect & try again'. Then Map Loader comes up.

I actually can load maps to the SD card with no problem. And the Dell still syncs with the computer. But if I click on Add/Remove programs from ActivSync I get the same error. However, if I unistall Iguidance, the error goes away. Any suggestions? I've tried plugging the Dell into different USB's, and I've unistalled and reinstalled many times. I've also tried installing the older version but have the same problem, so it is not an issue with the software, but something with my Dell connection I believe.

I've also unistalled and reinstalled the latest version of Activesync.

So, in review, syncs fine, can even add maps thru Iguidance maploader, but CAN NOT add the program. Help!
