ActiveSync Why has it taken so long for this category?

How can I complete the media player setup
On Activesync I am constantly getting "setup must be completed" next to the media player icon. I click on the "setup must be completed" and I get "connect your device to this computer with a USB cable. If your device is connected via bluetooth or infared, you must end that connection before media can be syncronised". Thing is I am connected via a USB and everything other than media player has synced that way. I disconnected the bluetooth connection my PDA. Why am I continuing to get this message?

Any help would be appreciated.
