ActiveSync Why has it taken so long for this category?

IPAQ ActiveSync Issue
Hi,

I have setup ActiveSync and can transfer files the IPAQ1710 PDA without any issue.
I can also move files from the PDA to an SD card. The problem is when I try to copy files from my PC to the SD card. I get an error saying
"Critical communications services have failed to start. Try resetting the mibile device and then connect again". I have tried this but to no avail.

Also, when I click File>Explore through ActiveSync the new explorer window opens but I also get the error message above.

Does anyone know what the problem is? Is there anything else I need to do?
