I have been losing (calendar) info on my X51v thru activesync when it sychronizes with my laptop. I finally realized its because I had the options set to replace info on PDA when there was a conflict. There are only 2 choices available either replace the info on the PDA or Desktop but I sometimes use the desktop to do updates and other times the PDA.

How can I get Activesync to prompt when there is a conflict so I can decide which one to overwrite?

This used to be an option before I don't know what i did to shut it off.

If this has already been discussed please provide the link. Unfortunately I am involved in an office move today and thru the weekend and don't have the time to research it but its driving me crazy. :rolling:

Start ActiveSync 4.2 without your Axim attached. Choose Options and then click on Rules. In the Conflict Resolution you should now have 3 options:

Leave the item unresolved
Always replace the item on my device
Always replace the item on this computer

Choose: Leave the item unresolved.

Connect your Axim and now any conflicts will appear in red as Unresolved. Clicking on this will then allow you to choose either of the other 2 rules listed above.

I found out the hard way by losing all contact of both PDA and PC.

THis is still an unresolved issue for me.

I tried what you recommended but when I open Activesync on my laptop under 'tools' > options is greyed out, so I cannot select this and make the change.
