i'm trying to install application with PC exe installation file, as I don't have a pc right now to run it from I was woundering if there is any method to use the axim x51v as emulator for pc ?

the app in the exe is actually a pc installer for wm5 app, but I cannot use it as I don't have pc

Look for cab files for that app, try freecabs.de or the site you got the exe from.

Is there a CAB file for the application? If so, you can copy that directly to your Axim (without ActiveSync) and install from there.

yes, I know...
but not all the programs ha cab version.
i;m looking for emulator or a method to extract the cab out of the exe file

Know what you mean, I currently use a spare machine with AS installed, install the program onto that, and extract and keep a copy of the CAB file. WinRAR and other archive programs can't seem to read the contents of the exe's when normally they could...

If anyone knows how to get the cab from an installation, that would be great!

yes well, that's what I would normally do.
but i'm currently out of the town and don't have any access to pc nor my sync cradle.
