I am a new Axim x51v owner and getting ActiveSync to download was an incredible hassle. After spending 2 days on the phone with Dell techs we all decided the problem was in my pc. So I downloaded it from the website.
I also just downloaded the Windows Media 10 to my pc but now I can't get it to synchronize with my Axim. Any ideas? Does everyone have all these problems with their Axims? I have almost just sent it back to Dell and decided I can live without a PDA and save the $$. Will I ever get to just enjoy having it? Thanks, Rebecca

Welcome to Aximsite, Rebecca.
I never use WMP to transfer my media because of the hassles. Try a card reader (as long as the files are not protected) - it's much faster and trouble-free.

try starting over. uninstall every thing like active sync, any drivers, every thing and start over just like you pulled your axim out of the box. get the newest media player. try that. i had some problems at first aswell. but after doing all that it worked like a charm.
