I've had my X51v for a few months now, running the latest ROM (A12). I recently noticed something really weird: ActiveSync refuses to copy certain files from my PDA to the desktop's synchronized files folder.

At first, I noticed this in the My Documents\Templates directory, and I didn't care too much. Then I started noticing other odd things:

1. When installed, some apps create files in the My Documents folder, and these are somehow excluded from synch. Examples include Adobe Reader 2.0's user's guide and MyPersonalDiet's splash screen.
2. Some directories I created myself are also missing certain files: e.g., 1 out of 2 text documents, 2 out of 2 ink notes.
3. Since File Synchronization Settings only shows you files on the desktop, I tried a hack: copy files directly from the device to the synchronized files folder. This works temporarily. The files get added to the list of "Syncrhonized files". However, the next time I connect my PDA, it undoes this hack and the files are deleted from the desktop again!

Any clues? Is there some weird "do not synchronize" flag that gets intentionally/or incorrectly set on certain files ?
