AS 3.8 vs AS4.2

My computer at work was just switched and my AS will need to be reloaded. I was running my DA X5 w/ AS3.8 at home and work. Can I maintain the AS3.8 and home and upgrade to AS4.2 at work?

I thought the reason for not installing AS 4.2 was that it didn't add any additional features for WM2003?

Do I want to upgrade all systems to AS4.2?

I've only used the 4.x versions with my X51v, but if you migrate from 3.8 to 4.2 you will NOT be able to wirelessly sync as you could in 3.8. I'm not sure you'd find any significant benefit going to 4.2 since there doesn't seem to be any tangible feature benefits for you that I'm aware of offhand, but maybe someone who has actual experience will chime in and give their personal take.
