I keep a list on my Axim of things to do, basically just a text file. I've decided to keep it on my storage card for security, in case I screw up and let the Axim battery run down completely. But, as I understand it ActiveSync won't automatically sync this file with my PC. Should I just manually copy this file over whenever I sync, or is there a better strategy for how to do this?

Understand that only the pre-version 1 MobSync (in this case 0.9.4) is free, since it was originally a beta. The current version (looks like 1.1.2) is not free:
