Help!!! I upgraded to 4.5 and now I get a message "Synchronization could not be completed. Try again later.
Support code: 8004010f
*Not the best help, use if no one else can help you*
Try to go to your add and remove programs to get rid of it and return to your previous version, where can you find older versions? I don't know sorry, It'd be easier to help if I had 4.5. I never seen that support code before...
ANy suggestions on how I should proceed to fix the mess. I can download programs, but I cannot sync to outlook. I have installed and reinstaled 4.5.
I have done repair in outlook 2003. I have rebooted. I have googled the error message. Does this mean a hard reset? HELP please
Oh, BTW if syncing to Outlook is your only problem you could also look at EMOZE (Its free) EMOZE will cleanly sync your Outlook's Calendar, Contacts, Mail and Tasks, it will be in constant sync through your Wi-Fi if you have it. It recommends you uncheck those options in ActiveSync so the only thing you'll need AS for is files ;).
Question for those of you brave enough to install 4.5 final. In the readme which accompanies the download, MS indicates that one of the "features" of 4.5 is support for html formatted e-mail via exchange sync. Given that this is one of the most highly -touted features of WM6, I am having a hard time believing that this is something that 4.5 implements for WM5 users. If you have 4.5 running, please send an html formatted message to yourself and indicate what happens.
I recently got a new laptop, which is my primary pc. It came with a trial of MS Office 2003. After installing AS 4.2, I kept getting errors and could not sync with Outlook. I un-installed 2003 and installed 2002. That was an even bigger mess. Despite much time troubleshooting, I could not get a resolution. I reinstalled 2003 and started getting error 85010014. Microsoft support recommended upgrading to AS 4.5. After the upgrade, everything works great. No problems at all syncing, even through bluetooth. I wanted to post this hoping it may help out some other poor soul.

Well, if it ain't broken, don't fix it....
AS 4.5 wasn't able to sync with my primary ax, so now I have reverted to 4.2. :-(
Edit:
Under AS 4.2 everything is back to normal= sync OK.
I'm running Outlook 2002 on my home desktop, AS 4.5 needs Outlook 2003!? In that case, how do I upgrade Outlook ->2003?
As of this morning I've tried 4.5 three times with the same results. It installs, syncs, and works just fine. After my pc has been shut off...then started again...it won't connect to the internet. I restore to 4.2 and all is well. Anyone have similar issues?

It has been five days, I only had one glitch...but that was because my Axim froze up on me. No problems to report other than that. I sync via USB cradle to my Dell XPS M140 laptop.
