ActiveSync 4.5 Final is out

I haven't spotted any difference between beta and final. I use AS only for copying files and syncing time nad date. Both versions worked fine for me

Thanks for the info...I've been using the beta for a few months now. Still can't activesync without a soft reset of my device first though...Very annoying.

I have sync problem with both 4.2 and 4.5 beta. I can not successfully sync every time. sometimes, I need to power off or soft rest in order to get sync.
I do not expect the 4.5 will do much better than beta.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but since upgrading from 4.5 beta to 4.5, my Activesyc tray icon is gone. So I guess I would have to recommend against upgrading.

I myself is still on 4.1

Same for me, happily syncing X30, x51v and qtek9100 all with no problems.

Try going into connection settings and make sure "show icon in tray" is checked. I upgraded without a problem. It acts like there is a new axim and if you are already syncing with 2 computers, you'll have to remove one.

My advice to all my friends out there; if ActiveSync is working on your pc, don't upgrade!

This is why I'm still on ActiveSync 3.8. The one time I tried v4 I had problems. v3.8 would have to break before I try to upgrade now.
