PDA Keeps Turning On in Cradle

Hi,

My x50v WM5 A02 keeps turning on and syncing with my PC (as it did with A01 and AS 4.2).

I set the dummy server, changed the setting in schedule to manual then deleted the dummy server. But the dam thing keeps turning on. I think the processor is getting stuck as max as well...

Any other tips? I'm using AS 4.5.

Cheers...

If you want it fully off to charge it and make sure it's off, you can hold down the power button for a few seconds until you see a confirmation prompt appear. See enclosed pic.

Hey Breley, is that a third party program for the full power off or is that built in? Thanks!

I don't know if it is exactly the same situation as the one you have, but ActiveSync keeps waking up, turning on my X51V and synching. The way I stop it is by unticking the "Allow USB Connections" box on ActiveSync's Connection Settings menu.

I believe that should be built in. It takes a few seconds (about 4) of holding the power button down, but be patient. :)
