ActiveSync Why has it taken so long for this category?

ActiveSync Automatically Loading
I hardly connect my Axim to the computer and don't want ActiveSync running all the time. I have used programs to stop ActiveSync loading at start-up, but whenever I start Winamp or Windows Media Player, ActiveSync automatically loads and resets itself to start at start-up. Does anyone know how to get ActiveSync from automatically loading when I open Winamp? Thanks.
