Aximsiteactivesyncicon Calendar not sync'ing from PC > Axim

After about a year of not being able to sync on my work computer at all, my work recently switched from using Lotus Notes to Outlook and bam, now I'm able to snyc. It syncs well from Axim > PC and PC > Axim for everything except my calendar.

I am able to get calendar items to copy from the Axim to my PC, but not from my PC to the Axim. I do most of my meeting entries on my PC, so at this point I am having to manually enter the meetings on my Axim. Unfortunately, this causes a double entry on my PC when I do this, because the info is flowing fine from Axim to PC.

I'm sure that I'm just missing something stupid here, but I could really use some help! I have the X51v and I'm running Active Sync 4.5

Just worth checking that you are not masking the entries on the Axim: on the device, (in Calendar) tap on Tools and then categories... - make sure that any listed are unchecked.

Wow, I must be really dense - I'm looking at the calendar on the device here and there is no 'Tools' option. When I click on the 'Menu' all I get View, Edit, Options, Filter. :rolling:

there's also that option (in AS) where you chose what to do if there was a conflict.....keep what was on PC or PPC..... might want to check that too :)

It's set to 'replace item on device' which would seem to be the right thing?

I've got All Appointments checked, so that should be all set.

I'm really puzzled here

I'm thinking that the fact that when I add a meeting to my Axim and it shows up on my Calendar tells me it's communicating fine from the Axim to Outlook.

The fact that I can add a contact in Outlook and have it show up on my Axim, means that it is pushing info to the Axim....just not calendar entries.

Keep the suggestions coming! :)

Have you tried:
  • From ActiveSync on the pc - click Tools
  • Click Options...
  • Select Calendar from the list
  • Click Settings Select Synchronize all Appointments

I'm running out of ideas! I have just checked to ensure that the entries in Outlook (pc version) set as Private sync - they do!

The only thing that I can recommend now is a soft reset.

I tried this, but it didn't help either.

Double check that your firewall is allowing bi-directional communication

Yes, I admit that I'm clutching at straws here - anyone else got any ideas?
