ActiveSync Why has it taken so long for this category?

Icon13 Activesync won't allow me to sync Contacts

Got a replacement X51v after my first one died under warranty (A12 ROM!). Connected and synced, but noticed this morning at work that my Contacts did not sync. I turned on Activesync on the Dell and went to Options, but the box to check to sync Contacts was greyed out. Don't know if I can do this at home, but I'm a bit worried. Anyone else know about this? I only have one partnership on the Dell, by the way.

On your PC AS dialog box go to TOOLS, OPTIONS, click on the word CONTACTS down near the bottom, so it is highlighted, then OK.

What version of Outlook?

If you're talking to me, I am using what came on the Dell Axim CD, Outlook 2002 I believe it is. It replaced Outlook Express that originally came with the PC. I actually liked Express better.

An update:
I'm running Outlook 2003 on XP Pro. When I first reconnected my Axim, the PC refused to sync at all--so I couldn't go into Tools/Options to check off Contacts. I ran the Outlook repair function and was able to reconnect...
