AS & Outlook 2002

I recently installed the AS & Outlook 2002 off the Dell supplied disk that came with my Axim. The Outlook replaced the Outlook Express on my PC. Outlook is just a gray and white color and the menus do not color the calendar etc. I actually like Express better, is this what I am stuck with? Express is still on the PC. Can I use both, or just one of the two? Is this what Dell uses (Outlook 2002) to AS with the Axim? Thanks for any answers, I actually thought upgrading from Express would be better, but Outlook 2002 is pretty drab.

Know what you mean. The newer outlook express is much better. A free upgrade to outlook 2007 would be nice as that looks a little better.

They are separate programs so you can use both. Well, actually if you want to sync with your axim you have to use Outlook. I just use outlook for contact list maint. On my PC for mail I still use outlook express for mail. I just don't sync email. On your desktop just select outlook express as the default mail tool in internet options. Then you don't ever need to use Outlook again. I use Outlook for contacts and calendar and express for mail. See you can use both, just not at the same time or for the same thing, Huh?

Thanks benot, I figured that out after I thinking about it. I just launched Express off the desktop, works fine. Thanks again. I think 'll use Express for regular mail, and Outlook 2002 for synching contacts etc.
