Unable to sync with Windows XP

I use Windows XP at home and have no problem syncing. Windows XP was just loaded onto my work PC. Now it is asking for a driver. I uninstalled Activesync and installed the latest version from Microsoft. It still asks for a driver. Thankfully I can still sync with my home machine. Any clues as to what my work PC is looking for?

I'm having the same problem. It worked for a short while but now steadfastly refuses to sync. My computer at home will sync with a BT connection.

I suspect there is something in the administrative tools that is blocking the syncing but I don't know what. I can ask a technician to do something specific, but not to play with it for an afternoon.

A long shot, based on the fact you say its a work machine: could it be you don't have full administrative rights on the machine and that the AS install is not able to fully install under your login?

Wondering if you have found a resolution. I had Windows 2000 on my work PC and it was recently moved to Windows XP. I have lost the ability to sync my Axim and yes, the OS is looking for a driver.

Thanks,
