Hmm WMP Sync on Vista?

Hi everyone,

I recently installed Vista Home Premium and have been syncing my X50v running WM5 using Windows Mobile Device Center. I used to sync my music to my CF card using WMP11 and ActiveSync on XP, but my CF card and SD card aren't listed as sync devices on Vista. Why is this? There's no way I can fit my music in the built-in storage and I have to sync through WMP because some of my music has DRM on it. Is there any solution? Thanks!

You can use this software. It will turn your ppc's memory card into a usb mass storage device, and its free.

Card Export also has a similar piece of software, that costs money.

Ah, I was so hopeful! That tool does make my CF Card show up as a drive, but it works veeeeeeeeeeeeeery slooooooooooooooooooowly in Windows Explorer. The new drive doesn't show up at all in WMP. Telling WMP to refresh devices just makes it sit with a slow-moving progress bar that never actually finds anything. Thanks for the suggestion, though!

Any other ideas?

Card export has similar software, and it runs fast on my x50.

It's fixed! Microsoft just pushed a patch out to my computer today via Windows Update and my CF card now shows up in WMP. :)
