Need Hard Resets - probably due to AS4.5?

I'm using an Axim X30 with WM2003, Wisbar 2, Pocket Informant, Pocket Breeze and other (fairly standard) stuff ...

Over the last two weeks I've had to hard reset my device a few times. This would always be when the PPC is in the cradle, and sometimes after a soft reset, or resetting after an SPB backup. Usually it's not catastrophic, since I use SPB, and also the standard AS back-up restore system. However, a couple of times following an SPB restore, the system will hang in its boot-up and require another hard reset. I've reformatted and rebuilt the system twice and I can't find any rogue software to cause this (all my current software was working Ok for months before this). This leads me to suspect AS4.5, which I think is the only variable in the situation.

Soft resetting and SPB back up out of the cradle is Ok, but it means I can't leave the X30 unattended for a synchronised back-up in its cradle (because of the reset).

Has anyone any ideas or corroboration of this suspicion?

Jerry
