Activesync problem
Hi. I have an Axim x51 that i had used with outlook 2002. I bought a new computer with a trial version of outlook 2003, i installed the activesync and all was well. When the trial version ran out, i deinstalled it and installed outlook 2002. Since then i now have 2 partnerships, and have trouble getting the right one to sync(it will sync everything but email). Any help would be appreciated. If i have to delete the good partnership, will i lose all the email i have on the axim? i woud prefer to fix and delete the new partnership vs. delete all, but if that is what i have to do, i will. Thanks

You should be able to delete either partnership without difficulty; indeed, you should be able to delete both and start from scratch if you want to!
Cradle your Axim and select the partnership that you want. Once you have synchronised, right click the other partnership and select delete from the pop-up menu (that's from memory, so anyone else feel free to jump in!). Data that is on your pc can be synched back to your device so it is safe. Only data that is on your Axim (and not your pc) and is not synched with your desktop is at risk. | ||||||||||
