Axim was unable to connect to the desktop, so i decided to reinstall A4.5. After the uninstallation, everysingle time i try to install it again it will cause the computer to restart in the Hotfix section of the instalation.
however, when the computer is back on, A4.5 is in the program list, when i try to run it is says 'the parameter is incorrect' and when i go to control panel, it is NOT in the list of installed programs.
please help, this happened to me a month ago and i fixed it then but i can't remember how, i have a lousy memory.

Unfortunately I can't help you, when I "upgraded" to 4.5, my PC won't connect to the internet. So, after a system restore, & 5 reinstalls, I deleted AS. Who knows!?

search for anything to do with activesync and delete it, on ax delete any partnerships that appear in AS. reset/restart and see if as is on PC at all. Then reinstall maybe 4.2 and see if you can sync.

I've had the same problem, but I think mine started after the trial period for microsoft office was finished. I used my office programs from disk & still could not get activesync up & running. Tried everything, from removing it & reinstalling, doing a soft reset, disabling virus & firewalls, trying 4.2 instead of 4.5.
Finally reinstalled Outlook, did a hard reset (backup first), all the time keeping my 51V in the cradle & it worked!
