I've avoided upgrading past Activesync 3.8 because I sync wirelessly at home and saw that feature was removed from later versions of Activesync.

Well, I just ordered a new PC from Dell that has Vista Home Premium. I understand I need to get the Windows Mobile Device Center to sync, and I have versions of Outlook and Windows Mobile that are supported.

My question is: Will I be able to sync using wireless?

I found the following information on the MS web site:

It talks about syncing with bluetooth and IR, but doesn't mention syncing via wireless networking. Was hoping someone that had already crossed this bridge could help me out.

No, you still cannnot sync wirelessly with your computer.

We really gotta start a petition or something about this, lol.

BT is great though. you can get a usb dongle for $10 or less now and it will work in most cases up to 30 feet from the pc that way. I use mine at home and work and it works great. no more tethered to the pc and can surf the net in most rooms of the house now with bt and the battery lasts a lot longer than when using wifi.
